AIAN is Testing Center for Advanced Placement Exams
|
Advanced
Placement Exams gives students the opportunity to earn credit or advanced
standing at many colleges and universities. Scoring well on exams (3 or 4 or 5 on a
5-point scale) will enhance a student’s application to college. Students typically take these exams
after enrolling in an AP class.
In schools where AP classes are not offered, students may challenge
for AP tests. It is highly
recommended that students arrange for all-year tutoring before sitting for
the exam in May (See schedule below).
Students in Grade 10-12 may take AP exams but it is recommended that
students wait until Grade 11 and Grade 12. AIAN will be administering 5 AP
exams to challenge students in Chinese, Physics, and Calculus. In addition, AIAN anticipates giving
the exams to students at other schools in |
