Admissions Process
Access International Academy Ningbo welcomes applications for admission from three years old to Grade 12 with foreign passports, Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan traveling documents. Student must reside full time with at least one parent or recognized legal guardian while enrolled at AIAN.
Applications for admittance must include the student's academic and health records before enrollment and placement procedures are complete. Please contact the Admissions Office for an application or go to the school's website.
AIAN is unable to accept enrollment for children with severe disabilities. The school does not retain specialists that provide appropriate support services. At the point of admission, the school considers each request on a case-by-case basis in order to determine whether its facilities and staff may adequately serve the student’s needs.
Admission Testing
Non-native English speaking students are required to take an English proficiency assessment beginning in Grade 1.
Sibling Discount Policy
Discounts for tuition and bus fees are offered to younger siblings as follows:
- Second younger child in attendance at AIAN less 10%
- Third child and above less 20%

Registration Requirements
1. A non-refundable registration fee of RMB 1500
2. Completed Application Form and Personal Health Record
3. Five passport-size photos with name of the student printed at back
4. Photocopy of passport or Hong Kong, Macau, or Taiwan traveling document

5. Photocopy of report card from the previous two years of school. The report cards must be translated to English
6. Doctor's Certificate that indicates current health dated within three months of the school start date
School Age Placement
Nursery students must be three years old on or before December 31. Nursery students must be toilet-trained.
Pre-Kindergarten students must be four years old on or before December 31.
Kindergarten students must be five years old on or before December 31.
Students for other grade levels are placed according to previous grades completed and academic achievement.
Note: Children who enroll from schools with a different academic calendar from August to June (for example: March to January) will be placed in the grade in which they are currently enrolled.

入学步骤
宁波爱学国际学校欢迎持有外国护照以及港、澳、台同胞证件的学生前来申请。接受满三周岁至12年级的学生申请。
入学申请者登记入学前必须提交学生的成绩报告单和健康记录表。请和学校招生办公室索取入学申请表，或可登陆学校网站获得。
宁波爱学国际学校无法接受严重残疾儿童，因为学校不提供特殊教育服务。所以在招生时，学校考虑每位申请者实际情况， 目的是为了确定学校现有的设施设备以及教职员配备能否满足学生的需求。
入学测试
从小学1年级起，英语非母语的学生入学前需要进行英文测试。

学龄
托儿所学生必须在12月31日前满3周岁。幼儿园的需要学会上厕所自理。
幼儿园学生必须在12月31日前满4周岁。
其他学生的年级主要根据是否完成上一年级课程来决定。
注意：学生如果来自非相同教学日历从8月到次年6月的（如3月到次年1月），将会被安排在他们目前所在的同样的年级。
