Overview
Access International Academy Ningbo (AIAN) is an independent, nonsectarian coeducational day school, providing an American-based educational program from Early Childhood through grade 12 in service to students of all nationalities. The school is governed by a Board of Directors with input from the school Administrative Team.

Accreditation and Membership
AIAN is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), is a member of the Association of China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS) and the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS).
Calendar
Each school year, AIAN provides students with 180 days of classroom instruction over two semesters, with Semester 1 beginning in August and Semester 2 beginning in January. The school day begins at 8:30 am and ends at 3:40 pm. Students attend After School Activities (ASAs) from 3:40pm - 4:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and various clubs and committees meet after school hours and at other times.
Faculty
There are 25 instructional faculty members and administrators employed with AIAN. Our expatriate teachers are certified in their fields from countries such as the United States, UK, and South Africa.
Classes are also supported by our local Teaching Assistants (TAs) who are trained in classroom management and supporting students in various classroom activities.

Current enrollment at AIAN allows for small class sizes and a diverse learning environment. Our students represent over 10 countries including Japan, South Korea, Germany, Venezuela, the United States, South Africa, and Canada.
